Job description
Now we are looking for an intuitive graphic user interface designer to help improving the user experience of Samsung smart products, especially in phones and tablet devices. The candidates should have outstanding skills in visual design and also have good sense on innovation and interaction sides. A passion for delivering high quality, great products for our customers who want great user experiences is a must. A high proficiency with adobe software is requisite.
You will Be a member of SAMSUNG DESIGN CHINA to shape a new era for the smart devices. Explore the new features and challenges to contribute in the creation of new generation of Samsung products.
Collaborate with other designers (interaction, industrial design, user researchers), and developers to create specific designs and features.
Participate in design brainstorming and workshops in the team with innovative ideas. And make the good ideas into tangible for Samsung devices.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor degree or above, major in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or Information design.
Strong design portfolio. Hands-on and trend-aware visual designer with a strong aesthetic skills, Keen on 'pixel perfect' and make sure all the visual assets delivering with high quality.
Excellent in creating innovative and concept designs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment through mood boards, sketches, storyboard.
Professional experience on designing the applications for smart devices. Creating visual language guidelines, presentation, motion demo and prototypes to developers.
Good communications and collaboration in team work and strong skills in solving the problems during the cooperation.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and After Effect or Premier. Be good at verbal and written English and chinese.
