The selection for academic year 2011-2012 ONLY takes place during the so-called
Fast Selection Days.

For admission to the 2011/2012 academic year the Fast Selection Days are:

Wednesday March 23, 2011

Register for Fast Selection Days

In order to participate in one of these days you need to register, by sending and email to the master coordinator, mentioning the day (Jan 19, Feb 16 or Mar23) and the department (Contextual Design, Social Design or Information Design) you are opting for.

Application and selection
You will have to prepare an Application package to deliver at the registration point during the Fast Selection Day you registered for. Please ensure that you have enclosed the following in your Application package:
- The Master application form 2011 (which consists of 3 parts: application form, motivation form, and evaluation form) filled out and signed where needed.
- Portfolio, according to the required format and dimensions.
- Sealed envelopes holding evaluations of former teacher, head of department or employer.
- A certified copy of your diploma, including a diploma supplement, of the educational institute that awarded your undergraduate degree (bachelor level).
- A copy of your passport
- Language certificates, as required
.

During the Fast Selection Day, your application form will be veryfied and your portfolio reviewed. An interview is part of the selection procedure.
If you are selected you can continue to register in Studielink.

Now you are accepted, it is important that you apply for registration as a student as soon and correctly as possible.
Here you will have to continue on designacademy.studielink.nl, where you will connect your registration in Studielink to the course you are accepted to.

You have been accepted to one of the master programmes. You will be starting in the first year of the master programme; you don't have to click anything to confirm this, as it is set as default within Studielink. Please go through all further steps that Studielink offers you.
Studielink is meant to deal with registration matters easily and online. However it is not yet fully equiped for international students. Nevertheless, registration via Studielink is necessary. It might mean, however, that data can not be veryfied correctly, meaning you will have to provide student administration with the correct copies and proofs (such as a copy of your registered address according to the 'Gemeentelijk Basis Administratie (GBA)' to be obtained at the town hall, where you are living). Your registration could also be delayed because the payment of your tuition fee has not come through correctly. As this is one of the conditions for registration, it is very important that you make sure it is corrected in time.
It will lead you to the final phase of the tuition fee payment.
Please bear in mind that you will still have to send in your registration form and that for those international students with a visa a copy of your passport with visa will have to be sent in as well - Studielink unfortunately does not offer full service to international students yet.
Deadline for these
documents and the tuition fee payment is August 1. (But if you are a visa student, you will have to respect the visa dates for payment; see visa -> requirements for MVV or requirements for VVR).

Every step you take within the registration process of Studielink, you will receive an email to confirm. Please make sure that you have sufficient space in your email inbox and that you check it regularly.

The registration process is completed only after you have taken care of the tuition fee and academy fund payment. Starting from the coming academic year this will be possible for payments in full and payments in 5 installment, through an authorisation form for payment of tuition fee. However, if you do not (yet) have a Dutch bank account, or do not wish to have one, you will have to take care of payment in time, yourself. Deadline is August 1.

The tuition fee information can be found here; please click the situation that applies to you.

Please check you inbox regularly for messages by either Studielink or the student administration of Design Academy Eindhoven and make sure that you react to them promptly.
